Marell Evans

Marell is the General Partner and Founder of Exceptional Capital. With over a decade of enterprise sales and investment experience, Marell leverages a range of professional expertise and a diverse network to support founders in the earliest stages of their journey. As an operator and investor across various sectors - including industrial automation, robotics, information technology, enterprise software, cybersecurity and fintech - Marell strives to empower the most innovative and exceptional founders.

Marell credits his experience as an athlete and Division 1 football player as having instilled a drive for excellence, enthusiasm, and a compassionate approach to collaboration and leadership. He believes that mentorship is fundamental for future leadership in tech and venture, and supports that through various initiatives, inclusive of Exceptional Capital’s internship program.

Marell is a Kauffman Fellow and graduated from the University of Michigan.
